Welcome to NERO Austin, a medieval fantasy live action role playing game where individuals and families come and enjoy a weekend getaway in a medieval setting. With more than 40 NERO LARP Chapters nationwide, we are the largest Live Action Role Playing (LARP) organization in the U.S. and Canada. In the NERO LARP game, you become the character of your fantasies, acting out the action you used to describe as you sat around a gaming table. Instead of dice, you use skills that your character has earned, as well as the skills the player brings to the game. Much like King Arthur, Lord of the Rings and Harry Potter. Your imagination has found a home!
Website Under Construction (Updated July 15, 2006) Future Nero Austin Module Days: We will be in the last parking lot at the end of the street leading into Mary Moore Seawrite Metropolitan Park. We will be set up under the pavilion (if it's not reserved), beside the pavilion on the tables, or standing on the wall being loud from 11:00 until noon. At that point we will leave to a different section of the park. The second section is a little harder to find so we will not start meeting there for logistics until next time. That section can be found by reviewing the different section map but instead of turning right on Decker Prairie, you should turn left into the small parking lot. Remember - logistics starts at 11:00 a.m. & lay-on is at noon
